WELL....
HELLOO FRIENDS....Hope we are ready to go on make sure you take part in my little poll at the top of page.now to one of my comments about being born into sin I flubbed it up and was meaning that we are all born into the world which is full of sin sorry about that but, glad it provoked you to look. :) Now the question I am going to throw out to you is one that really intrigues me and I am curios to see the responses. We are physical beings but our core is spiritual….. Are you in touch with your spirit? And if so is your spirit in touch with God? Now if it is, how do you really know? :) By your actions? By your feelings? Friends I am interested.....

Dear Sir,
Thank you for being honest enough to admit your mistakes. :) That takes courage.
Now on to your question. My spirit is what gives me life, breath, and reasoning capabilities so yes I am in touch with my spirit in that regard. I also am in touch with my spiritual side. How? By thinking on spiritual matters (Philippians 4:8) and endeavoring to bring my life into focus with God's will (Romans 8:5-10).
Is my spirit in touch with God? Seeing that I have obeyed the Word of God after hearing it, and have repented of my sins (Acts 2:38), been immersed for remission of my sins (Mark 16:15-16; Acts 2:38), and strive to walk according to God's will and not the flesh (Galatians 5:16-25) then yes my spirit is in touch with God's Spirit (Romans 8).
How do I really know? Because Jesus said that if we abide in Him, He will abide in us (John 15:1-10; II Cor. 6:14-18; I John 4:12-16). Therefore, I know that my spirit is in touch with God's not because of my actions wherein I show God dwelling in me but because of his promise; not because of my feelings for they are as changing as weather but because of God's promise to dwell in them the love Him and keep His commandments.

Hey, good question! However I do not wish to be confused or to confuse anyone else so perhaps you could explain just what spirit you are talking about.
Is it
a. the vital principal by which the body is animated
b. power of knowing, desiring, deciding, and acting
c. the disposition or influence which fills and governs the soul of any one
d. the third person of the triune God, the Holy Spirit, coequal, coeternal with the Father and the Son
Don't you just love multiple guess questions! Spirit is used in each of the ways identified above in the New Testament and can be said to be in the possession of man. Which would it be in your question?
Please explain with scriptural support.:)
