Faith and Well - being

Mat 9:29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. In the new testiment we are given many examples of what faith can do in our lives. What are the main steps to faith? Well first we probably need to know the definition of faith. Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11 is the explanation of what faith is and many of the works that have been accomplished through this acting in such a manner. What is hope? Webster defines it as such …….

intransitive verb1: to cherish a desire with anticipation <hopes for a promotion>2archaic : trust transitive verb1: to desire with expectation of obtainment 2: to expect with confidence : trust synonyms see expect

now faith is the SUBSTANCE of things hoped for, ok what is substance? Webster defines this as such..…..

1 a: essential nature: essence b: a fundamental or characteristic part or quality c Christian Science : god 1b2 a: ultimate reality that underlies all outward manifestations and change b: practical importance : meaning , usefulness .

We can see the evidence of the existence of God, we know that he is all around us but many times we fail to do the steps and recognize him and what he wishes for us. Many of your inner desires can only be manifested unto you through your trust and expectation of receiving them. Read matt 9 and Hebrews 11 and look for the essence of God and expect him to do great things in your life! Love to all

The complete picture?

I WANT TO KNOW WHO DECIDED THAT THE SCRIPTURES WE KNOW AS THE BIBLE ARE THE COMPLETE WORKS AND WRITINGS OF GOD ? Is there more?

Circular reasoning

Mar 8:18 Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember? What are you missing today? As habitual creatures we tend to see but not really see. The man that reportedly discovered the cities of Sodom and Gomorra after centuries of being undiscovered said that he had been traveling the same road for months on his way to work. One day while driving along something caught his eye and upon second glance he had to stop he looked and looked, finally going over and looking and upon examination was thoroughly amazed that it was an entire city. As the report goes the city is completely incinerated but the ashes are still in there form of the buildings from centuries ago! Do you think he was the first person to travel that road? Then why hadn't others before him seen this fantastic marvel and work of God? In some of my readings of literature it was brought to my attention that we see but don't really train our selves to see! I pondered that and did a lot of recollecting of personal data and find this to be so true. We really need to train the eyes to see. I had a good friend once go into the mountains with me and as we were driving along he would stop often and say look see there, and me I looked and looked and saw nothing. I would ask him what am I suppose to see. And he would say the particular type of animal. Ok so I looked and looked again and would see nothing, then he would chuckle and say watch …. honking his horn and not 50, 60 yards away a mule deer or elk would jump and take off running. The animal was right there in front of me in plain view but I could not see it! There is a saying that goes like this (with a trained eye you can see…..). The training of the eyes and ears is as important to a Godly life as prayer. Why do I say this because if you don't you wont know how to seek out the truth or know what to pray for!

I heard a lesson recently about how people expect physical signs from God and how wrong these people are for doing this. Silly people, God doesn't work like that, he doesn't do that anymore. The speaker said that we have no need of these signs (he was not talking about the gifts of the spirit either but physical and material blessings) due to the fact that we have the bible and it is complete! We do have the complete scriptures true but the rest was very contradictory to the scriptures!! Then what I thought really silly or redundant was that at the end of the service the gentleman giving the closing prayer says this….. and father be with ---- as she is recovering from her operation and be with ------- as she is preparing for her operation and father be with them and care for them in their times of difficulty, and bring them again soon into our midst healthy and well. I was like huh??? Either one of two things happened here….. One, either the gentleman didn't listen to the lesson or ….. two, the speaker as others before him are confused with the power and love of God and his movements and are unfortunately promoting this confusion. People you acquire nothing in this world!! God has permitted you the usage of everything you have in your possession!! Is this not physical or do you believe you really acquired it through the sweat of your brow? If he didn't wish you to have these abilities or physical material blessings, trust me friends you would not!! My question to you is this if God is the same then, now, and forever, and all through out the bible he uses physical demonstrations to show his power and abilities so that we all fear yet glorify him why would he stop now? If you don't believe in miracles then why pray? To give gratitude to some thing you really don't believe in, to waste ones breath and time asking out of duty, not expectation? Aren't his answers to your prayers works of a physical nature and the fulfillment of your desires for you, your family, and friends? Ohhh ohhh wait not desires! We are to desire nothing more than the needs in life. Wow, how confused can people be!!

Gray area….and life…

I heard the statement that life is a gray area. When one thinks about it, it is. There are many areas of life that seem to be mysteries to us yet mystery is what keeps us going; the unknown, the excitement of what is just on the other side of each and every thought and decision which causes every one of our actions and or reactions. Some one once said the world was conquered by actions not reactions. When one takes a minute to think about their lives we can see how they seem to be a chain of reactions and not a whole lot of actions. We have become a society of weak and feeble objects, existing from day to day with a lack of focus and dreams; a lack of courage and stamina to reach our goals. As I read the stories of the athletes on the Olympic tour I see their dedication and energy, the test of courage and sacrifice that they over come to get where they are, and that is really impressive. Friends, God is a God of action, not reaction; not complacently sitting by and watching the world go round and round and just reacting to the different scenarios that play out in this physical realm. The whole ministry of Jesus was a call to action not reaction. Why am I saying this, God gave us a world full of color and glory, full of beauty and opportunity, it is up to us to take our gray areas in life and paint the picture that we wish to see! So dream big, focus on achievement and paint your life full of color as God wishes for you! God gave us the foundations; it is you who is to finish construction. With your desires and his help nothing is impossible!

Love yall

And may God bless you

End of the day

Good morning friends. I was looking today during my studies at different words and their contextual meanings (meaning the meanings pertaining to the languages they were written in) and came across a scripture that Jesus spoke (that I have heard used and I am sure all of you have also) that caught my eye in a slightly different sense. That verse was Luke 5:39. In this verse he talks about old wine and new wine. He says that after tasting old wine nobody wants the new. Well we all know that wine is considered better with age; in fact many sit on some for years and years even to the point that it soon becomes a vintage wine. Well now you are asking how this struck me in a slightly different way. Well we often hear it in reference to the way we lived before we came to Christ in Christianity and how some often look back and prefer to go back to the old ways instead of trying to live in Christ. What strikes me funny is that not only is that true about people of the world but also many of people of or in different faiths or beliefs. Due to the mental state and our individuality we often times tend to read or understand what we have been raised up or instructed to believe rather than to learn for our selves.

Having the same book with the same teachings and the words all meaning the same why is their over 10,000 different beliefs or types of faith? I think that we try to make the way or path of right way to difficult. I personally don't understand why. God is not a God of confusion, disorderly, or difficult. He is a God of simplicity, order, and clearly in control. How can we take a verse and twist it and form the definition to be as we want? We all know the route to salvation, and that is an easy step to start, the difficulties start after the initial steps have been taken. Jesus says that we need to be as a child to enter into the kingdom of God. Now we also all know the characteristics of a child, but we tend to forget some important parts. We know that a child has no worries, that they trust their parents to provide for them and that they have unconditional love for their family. Now you may be asking what the parts that we miss are. How about for starters imaginative? Most children have a tremendous imagination and ability to drum up a wealth of ideas and dreams, not only for the present but also the future. Next we will say how about creativity. Children are very creative and many times ingenious in the way they color and pretend or act out their ideas. Next we will move on to accessible; now another term that one may use is trainable. They accept your firm words as law as one raises them in the best way one knows how. Ok now lets move on to the next one lets say serving. They give no thought to doing what one asks them to do, and a child that is taught to respect his elders they give no thought to helping other either. Next will be forgiving they forgive and forget and continue to love as if nothing had happened. Next let us continue with ambitious; they don't let a small thing such as one telling them no get in their way. They take the time to learn you and they actually know one better than you yourself do.

Now if you will allow me to bring this to you as I see it. God put us here and created us perfect and in his image right? All the above mentioned characteristics are the same ones that God contains except the fact that he needs no training or teaching for he is the teacher. Why have I said all this? You will never create the universe or an animal or humankind, but you are responsible for your life, for your surroundings, for your goals and for your future. One can never change another no matter how dominating one is. One can change the lives of others by being as a child, by giving the unconditional love, by letting their imagination show them who they are and dreaming big dreams with a definite goal in mind. By being creative and ingenious in the forms of executing them and always looking to the future, to always learn and allow others to have access to your heart and love and forgiveness. And last of all not killing ones ambitions or desires thinking that they are not a need for ones life. One of the greatest forms of service to others is by allowing yourself to have dreams and live a happy and fulfilling life. Why? If one is unhappy they carry stress, hate, anger, and just a life that at the end one looks back and asks what did I do with my life? A desire is what guides you, your heart, your life, but if one doesn't allow it to fulfill itself you live with a sad heart for you are not doing what you are sent to do. some may argue that we are not to have desires for that isn't Godly but when it is all said and done if one chooses to serve God that is only because they so desired. You are the creator of your own life, your own future, your dreams and your limitations. Look to God for the way and allow him to show you. He tells us the do's and don'ts but puts no limits to what one can accomplish through him.

Now what did all that have to do with Luke? I am going to leave that to your imagination, and your own interpretation. Just remember when you sit down at the end of the day and look back over your accomplishments and dreams how will they match up? Will they make you smile with the contentment of achievements God desired for you or the sadness of unfulfilled dreams and wonderment if you full filled his desires for you.

God bless!!

It’s a beautiful day!!

Good morning to all and what a beautiful morning it is!! I was sitting out side this morning at the picnic table, sipping on my creamy concoction of coffee, sugar, and a light touch of creamer, and observing the beauty of nature and listening to her song. With a slight breeze coming across the dewy grass and wisping through the tree tops, the birds chirping, the morning sun warming the earth, the horse chomping away at the grass, the rabbits running to and fro, and the squirrels carrying on like old maids. I sat there in deep thought just thinking of God and appreciating his glorious creation. Then it brought into a different perspective as to what God is…. God is a God of beauty, peace, joy, happiness, abundance and love; A God so powerful and overwhelmingly large yet so simple. We may perceive a thing as being large or a task to great or a need or desire too much, but for God (whom effortlessly spoke the world into creation) size is no issue. God is not a God of limitations but a God that loves you and I much more than we could ever love him. He praises every good deed you do and forgives the bad ones, bestows unlimited blessing upon us which many we take for granted. It has been my experience that the more one appreciates and tries to recognize them the more he bestows unto you. In the bible Jesus mentions the flower called the lily. The lily is a highly recognized flower for its beauty and peace for its sweetness and fragrance. If God created so much beauty in a plant of that nature, imagine what he could create through you if you allowed him to. We as humans tend to put self imposing limitations on ourselves due to the fact that as the saying goes we can't see past our noses. Is your God the limited God who works on our level, or is he the almighty and all powerful the great I AM ready and willing to assist you, to bless you, to heal you, to carry you to greater and greater levels of service and abundance. One may say but I don't deserve all the blessing or luxuries in life, and my response to them is in reality we not only don't deserve that but neither do we deserve to live, but through Gods love we are doing that. He doesn't allow us to be here so that we can be like blocks of dirt on the beach of life waiting for the tides of death to just come and wash us back into the ocean of forgotten mankind, but he wants us here to glorify him, to allow him to show his glory through us, and the only way to do that is by allowing him to do it; By allowing him to bestow upon us all his glory and blessings, by allowing him to work through us. Many times in the bible God tells his people that he is doing what he does so that all may see him and his glory. God is not a God of limitations or lack but a God of unlimited abundance, we have yet to run out of our natural resources….gold has been mined for thousands of years in large quantities, as has silver and all the other metals and minerals, crude oil has been pumped out of the earth for over a hundred years and there is no end in site. They say that we have enough under the U.S. to meet the present demand for over 300 more years. So my question to you is who is limited you or God? Jesus told us that with faith the size of a mustard seed we can move mountains, so then what are the limitations that God has put on us? The answer is that the only limitation God has put us under is that we serve him with love, gratitude, and a strong dedication to carry out his will and all the rest will be added unto you. Is it wrong to ask God to bless you with an abundant life? Is it wrong to ask for great things, Beautiful things? No. I find it rather strange that many like to think so. If you look in the scriptures at a little prayer given by a supposedly unrecognized man in the long list of the genealogy in 1 chronicles 4:9-10 you can see that it is not only proper but totally recognized as a great prayer. Why else would it be smack in the middle of a long list of begats? If you read in matt.6:9-13 Jesus almost replicates this prayer but with a little more description. Well I have said enough for today and hope you have enjoyed the thoughts. May God Bless

WELL HARD TO UNDERSTAND WHY....

Hello friends, I find it a little strange that no one has any had any comments or ideas to voice on the last couple of posts. One can only speculate as to why, but I won’t due to the nature of speculation. I post here to open new avenues of thought concerning who we are and how we relate to God, not to impose on some ones beliefs. It is great to know how they relate to each individuals belief and to know how they are either good or bad so that they can be elevated in ones thought process or put to rest and not utilized, or continued. I said I wasn’t going to post a response to my last post and to how I see what it says but I will say a few short words here as to part of what I think. I too had to read it several times to understand the depth of what it says but the short version is this when a person tries to be pleasing to God they act and respond as they think their God would through their interpretation of who God is. As adults we create the God that our children try to be pleasing to. We (through our actions) show them how we perceive God, and they being our children follow through as they try to be pleasing to us their parents. Well that is a start for you and MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS

HONEST MAN…..OR GOD…..

Hello friends and dear readersJ I am going to post a cut out of a piece of literature that I read. Not asking for opinions here what I am going to ask is for a depiction of what you see here. I am not claiming belief or disbelief of what the author says, but that we as a group examine it to find it true or false. Once the first round is in I will tell my views and thoughts. Thank you and enjoyJ

Some one has said that "an honest man is the noblest work of God." Ten thousand thousand others have repeated his little speech—with a solemn wag of the head and sidewise squinting which conveyed the opinion that God is chary of his noble works.

Then there came another man who paraphrased that. "An honest God is the noblest work of man," he said. And a thousand or so of us wondered why we hadn't thought to say that! Why, of course. And the other thousands of thousands lifted up their hands and cried, "Blasphemy—stone him, stone him—put him out of the church, where the bogies'll get him!" They put him out. But the bogies haven't got him. And many of the thousands are taking up his cry—"An honest God is the noblest work of man."

Why not? An honest God is of greater value than many honest men, is he not? God is the creator of man; unless God is himself honest his honest man is but an accident, instead of an image and likeness of himself.

But, according to the paraphraser, man creates his God. Well, that is a paraphrase only, and true only in a sense.

Man's creation of God is simply his mental concept of God; it is God as he sees him, or it, from his viewpoint.

An honest God is the concept of a man whose soul recognizes honesty and loves it. A God of power is the mental creation of him whose soul recognizes and loves power. A God of love is the mental creation of him who recognizes and loves love. A God of vengeance is the mental concept of him who loves vengeance.

Perhaps you think your mental concept of God is not so very important, since it is all in your mind and the real God is what he is regardless of your idea of him. But it matters vitally to you.

It is not God as he really is, that is creating you; but God as he appears to you. Your concept of God is creating you in its own image and likeness.

If you think of God as a great man on a throne, with a long white heard and an eye-for-an-eye-and-a-tooth-for-a-tooth expression, you may depend upon being made over into a sour-visaged decrepit old man who will want to die and get away from it all.

If you think of God as a God of power, love, wisdom, beneficence, you will aim to be perfect as he is perfect.

If you happen to be one of the fools who has said in his heart there is no God, your life will be a crazy patchwork and your end that of the stoic who defies earth to do its worst by him; which it probably will, being a willing earth and ready to give each according to his demands.

You are being created in the image and likeness of the Lord your God, the God enthroned in your heart.

What kind of a God is in your heart? Is he small and revengeful and capricious, a sort of policeman to tell your troubles to, to receive consolation from, and by whom to send punishment to your enemies?

Or is your God the Principle and Substance behind all creation, the power, wisdom, love, of all creation, a God who loves all, is just to all, generous to all, favors none?

But no matter how lofty a God you carry in your heart he will do you little good unless he is an "I Am" God.

Most men's Gods are "I Was" Gods. They believe God did wonderful things for the children of Israel; that he performed great miracles for the apostles and disciples of Jesus; but to this age they think of him as merely the I Was God, who stands aloof and lets man run things—man and the devil, or "malicious animal magnetism."

Believers in the "I Was" God are also great sticklers for the "I Shall Be" God, who is coming again to judge the wicked and set up his kingdom on earth. And these believers in the I Shall Be God think that their only business in life is to wait around until the great I Shall Be makes his appearance.

People who worship the "I Was" and the "I Shall Be" are never demonstrators. Between admiration of the "I Was" and anticipation of the "I Shall Be" they fall to the ground and—wait for the I Shall Be in themselves and others.

Only the "I Am" God does things. "I Am" love impels you to love now. "I Am" wisdom inspires you to act upon your ideas. "I Am" power performs miracles, not yesterday or tomorrow, but now.

I Am God is the God who works to-day, in you and in me. His ways are not the ways of the I Was God, nor of the I Shall Be God; they are the ways of the "I Am"—new, different, the ways of to-day, not of yesterday or to-morrow.

I know a dear woman who worships the I Was and the I Shall Be. She entertained Schlatter the healer, and was firmly convinced that he was a literal reincarnation of Jesus Christ. She took Schlatter's word for it. She also accepted his excuses for not immediately setting up a literal kingdom here on earth, as described in the book of Revelations. He told her he had other work to do just now, that he was going away, but would soon return and establish a literal kingdom. She swallowed it all—without a single chew. Schlatter went away, and later a body was found in the mountains which was said to be his.

Since Schlatter's disappearance some years ago, this lady has spent her time in writing about him and looking for his return. The I Was and the I Shall Be absorb her entire spiritual attention.

In the meantime she lives in a small mining town where in the life surging about her she sees no God. Not long ago she wrote me to help her speak the Word of freedom for a man on trial for his life. She said he was absolutely innocent and that a "terrible conspiracy" existed against him. The man was condemned to die, still protesting, not innocence but self-defense. It was a case of mix-up with two men and a woman, followed by a drunken brawl and the usual plea of "didn't mean to."

This lady's sympathies were all with the man, and her letters to me were pitiful. Her heart was wrung with agony for him and his bereaved wife, and convulsed with horror and impotent rage at the "wickedness" of the "wretches who falsely swore away his life." The way "evil" triumphed over justice was awful, she said, and she knew when Schlatter returned justice would be done and the wicked wretches annihilated—or words to that effect.

You see, she has no conception of an "I Am" God, who rules now. She sits in judgment on men's acts and prays to Schlatter to come back and set things right.

She remembers that the "I Was" put 10,000 to flight with Gideon's three hundred pitchers and candles—simply sneaked up and scared them into a panic. She knows the "I Was" hardened the heart of Pharaoh to lie repeatedly to the Israelites. She knows the devil had to ask permission of God before he tempted Job. She knows God said "I make peace and I create evil," and that "The Lord hath made all things himself; yea, even the wicked for the day of evil." She knows that "Whatsoever the Lord pleased that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all the deep places." She knows all these things of the Great I Was.

But that the I Am works now in the hearts of men; that God now hardens one heart to perjury and another to truth, one to murder and another to lay down his life that his friend may live;—that God now works in these apparently antagonistic ways and thereby works out perfect justice, wisdom, love, has never entered her mind.

She cannot imagine that no man meets any form of death until he himself has ripened for that particular form of death. She has read that eighteenth chapter of Ezekiel, where God explains that every man dies for his own sins, not for the false swearings of another. But the great "I Was" said that, and the "I Shall Be" says it; but the "I Am" is absent—so she thinks.

Peace be still…..

Hello friends all through the torturing and playing on the words and buffeting of the rebukes from others saying that what I said is blasphemous I just prayed and asked for guidance. Here is the answer I received.

Isa 45:5 I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:

Isa 45:6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.

Isa 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Isa 45:8 Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it.

A Thief and a Dog

Good morning friends, it is a little chilly so I am sure that a cup of coffee is on order and shall be really enjoyed this morning. It is my hope to clear up my reasoning in a way that you will understand. It is also my hope that you will take back your accusations to the blasphemous nature in which you have perceived my writings. In my life I see God as the highest and most sacred of all authorities, as having the greatest plan and intention for you and me on this physical plane we call earth. Gods love and grace being far superior to anything that we can physically imagine or possibly understand. Even though great strides are taken by many on a daily basis to do so it is impossible to fathom its great depths with our limited mentality. I heard on the radio once about a man who locked up his house and went to bed. In the night he awoke to noise being made on the lower level of his home. Being the protector of his family, he arose and went to investigate. As he was passing down the hall way approaching the stairs his son had happened to leave the baseball bat on the floor outside his room so the man picked it up and continued his procession down the stairs. Being as quiet as he possibly could he walked right into the living room where he saw a thief in the process of stealing his articles. Startled the thief jumped and made an attempt to escape. In doing so he fell and broke his leg. The owner of the home then called the authorities and upon arrival they arrested the thief. Now I am sure that you are saying well ok that is great, but friends that is not the end of the story. The rest of the story is that the thief went to jail but filled a law suite against the home owner for breaking his leg on their property and he won and went scott free with an even larger bag of loot ill gotten. Now what does that have to do with the price of tea in china? I am sure that many of you know that the whole scenario presented above is just not right, but in our country the law also states that if you have a dog that is very protective of his owners and you put a beware of dog sign on the fence or gate and some ones decides to go into your yard anyway and gets bit you are the responsible party. It is my opinion that the mentality used to argue the points being written here in the previous posts is the same. We as Americans live in a land that prides itself on freedoms, extensive freedoms of all kinds and shapes with in which we as Americans take advantage of on a daily basis for a more fulfilling life in this country. The gov’t was set up to govern the people setting forth a set of guidelines or laws that we are required to live by. This is so that we all can live in a peaceful and harmonious state of existence. Now not all of the laws are the greatest but most are implemented for the protection of the citizens of this country. God, by divine inspiration, also set forth a set of guidelines or laws into existence for us through the writings and teachers of the bible. Just as if you break the laws of the country there are consequences, so are there consequences if you break Gods law. Now do the laws of the country make the country wicked or evil? No! Just because the laws stated by God create the distinction of good and evil, this does not make him evil. This also does not entail him using evil or at fault because we do it. This is where my stories come into play. If I have it posted that my canine friend is aggressive and it is in your best interest to stay on the other side of the fence from him and you decide not to then, am I at fault? Just because I knew he was aggressive towards unwanted intruders? Unfortunately that is the legal stand point that the folks of this country have taken, when in reality the person who chose to forbid the warning is the one at fault. Therefore is the reason for what I have said. God by creating a law, setting forth a distinction between good and evil, created them both, does this make him evil? Definitely not! There is no form possible that you can create one with out the other, if you define what is good then you also have defined what is evil. Jesus didn’t deserve to die because God created good and evil, he died because he was perfect and made the perfect sacrifice, his life for our inadequacies, or imperfections which by going into the yard with satan we have chosen to commit. If one chooses to break in to another’s house and breaks a leg or gets bit by the aggressive dog does the owner owe the perpetrator restitution? Neither God nor Jesus owes us a thing! But because they love us so much God provided us the perfect sacrifice and Jesus gave his life. Love and peace to all!! May God Bless

P.S.

FRIENDS IT IS PROBABLY the fact that you are reading that he created evil therefore he is and does…. Nothing could be farther from the truth….it could be better said that he created the options of Good and evil….God is not the creator of evil things nor actions, just our free will….which means you and I have the option to select which you want to do. God created the mind and feelings…we are the devisors of our own good and or evil actions.

How you say it….

Good morning friends and readers….now I was going to reply in the comment section but I decided that this was going to be the best form in which to say what I have to say. I am very truly sorry for your misunderstanding of what I said. And perhaps due to my limited knowledge how I portrayed it. You are absolutely correct in the fact that evil is an action not an item and though it may not seem as such as you insinuated I am a little more advanced than that. Now I must respond to you with the same question but not in the same form... for as you have said in earlier comments anger and hate are a complete contrast to what God wishes and through your verbage that is all one can gather. The claim that was laid out in the comments that to which I am blasphemous and portraying God I guess I don’t understand how that is but, if what I say and what you say are the same only put in different terms then does that make you blasphemous also? Now why am I saying this, let’s take a look at what I have said…….. It is up to you to understand the difference and define it through the study of his will……..but unfortunately we implement and partake of it due to our own physical weaknesses…….and there are other ones also where time and time again I have said that we need to study and we are at fault for our sins this goes right along with what you were yelling out to me……that YOU and YOU ALONE are the reason that you do evil (sin), not God. What was different about what I said and your response? I don’t understand…. Now, you made the comment on the fact that evil is an action….. that is a very interesting topic or thought….please explain the difference between evil being an action and lets say love, peace, harmony, humility, goodwill, goodness, servitude, happiness, fulfillment, longsuffering, and the list goes on. All of these to my knowledge are also actions. If they are not let me know, because I would appreciate the knowledge of the difference. In my limited knowledge all of these things are allocated to feelings and mind sets and are to be preferred responses to situations rather than the opposite which is evil. God created us with the option to do right or wrong that does in no way detract from him making us in perfection. The bible states as I have said and you have agreed and tried to reiterate it and resay it trying to make what I say seem blasphemous, that we are created perfect at birth, but after birth God relinquishes his control of our thoughts, therefore you are responsible for yourself. As far as how you picture me and my beliefs, that is your option and should remain to yourself for we all have opinions but that doesn’t mean we need to slander and tear down another in attempt to feel better about ourselves. I know this same action has been done by myself and tends to cause me great distress and results in apologies and learning experiences and a whole lot more love! Now Christian if you wish to do as you say, I will say…May God Bless and love and peace be unto you and yours from me and mine. To all love and peace May God Bless

God is…..

Good morning again let me say that I enjoy your company and discussions. Now, again also let me try to reiterate by a different way of explanation. My view and opinion of this discussion are as such….we know God as the creator of all….that he was before during and will always be…correct? Now when I claim that he created all including evil this does in no way insinuate that he implements it or approves of it. You are totally correct in the fact that he did not put it on earth, but the fact still remains that we as physical human being did not create it. Unfortunately we implement and partake of it due to our own physical weaknesses. We can look at this physical earth or world as our testing grounds, the place where we attempt to place value on our spiritual beings. The bible teaches us that a man shall be known by his works. This statement shows us how to add value to ourselves in the eyes of God. Jesus put a price on us….priceless, he found us worth giving his life for! But, just like when you buy and automobile with a hefty price tag it is known that some are junk and some are good. I like to liken this scenario to a business, when a being hires employees they tend to pay an hourly price for their services, Jesus paid for us in full already when he died on the cross, now you all know and understand that the ones working the hardest and best, with the best ethics and enthusiasm are the ones that maintain their employment, the ones that receive all the perks, and after a length of service enjoy the rest of the benefits, what ever they are. Now I guess my question to you is this if God was first and his angels and he created satan which we totally relate to evil and as the tempter then he created physical form and all that it includes then we know he had a plan for us knowing our shortcomings why does everyone want to diminish his power his creation his plan……I guess I am just rambling on and I can only say this …. I think and to me this verse in the bible says it all very clearly: Ecc 3:10 I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it. Ecc 3:11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end. Ecc 3:12 I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life. Ecc 3:13 And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God. Ecc 3:14 I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him. Ecc 3:15 That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past. Ecc 3:16 And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there. Ecc 3:17 I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work. Love and peace to all and May God Bless

God and contrast……?

Friends the question posed to me was why am I ascribing things to God that the bible does not? Secondly why would God need contrast? And thirdly does this contrast with evil define him, meaning God. Well what can I say more than has already been said? I am not ascribing anything more than the bible for there in he created all on earth as in heaven. Therefore what has been ascribed that is not in his word? Secondly the contrast is not for Gods sake but our own. God has no need for contrast but for our sake it is here. Like I said in order for us to perceive the difference there has to be a difference. With no difference where is the ability to think, act, and choose of our own accord? Now thirdly in respect to the question that does evil define God….it does not but, it definitely makes us more aware of his presence when we are trapped in a period of darkness and he brings in the light to show us a better way. I hope this cleared up your questions and if not please….let me know and I will do my best to explain in a better way. Love to all and May God bless!!

God and Company

Good morning friends, just a quick thought to keep the thought process active…..I read this little teaching by an old sage and you may already know this and the concept it portrays but it also might bring into new light other thoughts. SAGE: The Law of Life is God and Company. You are the Company, and you cannot in any sense be an idle partner, if you wish to profit by the partnership. Your part is a big one, and there is plenty for you to do in providing a concrete center around which the universal divine energies can operate. Love and peace to all and May God Bless P.S. I too had to read it several times as it slapped me around. I think that many tend to believe that things just happen, but they don’t. The manna did fall from the sky but the people had to go pick it up!!

My thoughts on….

Hello all sorry for the long time I have been away and hope I can get things back up and exciting. I am sure that all of you have some kind of idea what contrast is….we paint walls and ceilings different colors to gain contrast and stripes on vehicles and so on….well everything in life has contrast depending on the view point. Light has dark, white has black you have open and closed big small high low healthy sick, and the list goes on….and on…and on…. But unfortunately I don’t have the time to type all the different contrasts that there are. I just want to know if something didn’t have a contrast; how would or could you know the difference? If everything was big and white and narrow how would you know that? Everything would be the same? Sure you could put different things to the title but you would no longer have round verse square nor low or high. How could you describe an object with out contrast? It escapes me! But if you could tell me I would have a tidbit more knowledge than I have now, which is very limited to begin with. It is like if I had an object of some sort trying to put it in a place that I want too but….. With No contrast I would not know if it fit or if it should fit….. How could you make the right decisions in life if your life had no contrast to it? The subject of good and evil is the same thing. With out evil you would not know what is good….. Without good you would not know what is evil. How can we define the difference if there is no difference to be defined….this difference my friends was created and laid down before us by the creator….. It is up to you to understand the difference and define it through the study of his will. We would be as robots on a robotic world if he had not created this contrast. It does not mean that he delights in the evil but without its presence we as humans would not understand and appreciate God nor be able to see his glory and power in our lives much less the next person whom we wish to teach or lead by our examples. Love and peace to all May God bless

ENLIGHTENMENT LADDER COMPANY

GOOD MORNING TO ALL… as I read the first comment on yesterday’s blog I see that the enlightening part of the ladder must have been the rungs that were under the water. I must say it was a comical commentary but also shows the depth at which the reader chose to understand what was said. Now if a person had taken the time to study what was written in 1 Samuel 16 and then back tracked a little to the beginning of chapter 15 they would have been able to see that Saul had already sinned and lost favor as king of the Israelites before the fact of the spirits. Here in is where the statement which I made yesterday comes into affect ((that he was using the evil spirits to try to get the characters involved to react to change to recognize his powers as the ultimate and trust him. Instead they chose to trust the physical; and met with terrible ends….. And…God uses both good spirits and evil spirits to teach and demonstrate his powers.))))) But this, the reader obviously didn’t choose to understand. The lord knows your heart and he does not cause you to sin…. Yet he also knows, you can not hide your true self from him. Maybe I should not use the word evil maybe I should water it down and say good and bad but all in all the words interchange. If there was no right and wrong there would be no need for heaven and hell. If there was no right or wrong you would have no reason to have a mind and as they say that all would be a no brainer, and that would detract from the reason we are here….. To glorify God and every victory that we have over the evil in life is a glorification unto God. So if you choose to believe that your sin is Gods’ fault, if that is the meaning you get from yesterdays writing, maybe one needs to look a little deeper instead of just hurrying to get out and reading that which one can’t miss. May God Bless you all!!

God verse Man

Good morning or afternoon which ever it is when you finally get a chance to read this. I am rather excited that again I have put out a topic of large discussion. It is my intent to deliver an explanation to my reasoning and statements. First off I would like to say that the discussions and questions are greatly enjoyed and oft times make me smile. God is awesome and regardless of the speculated views of readers I like to take my thoughts and understanding to much deeper and more fulfilling realms of understanding than most. I have found that the only way to do this is to challenge myself and try to delve into a much broader understanding of the whole. The simple and for many hardest to understand fact is that we are spiritual being before and after we are a physical being. Now I am sure that you are thinking the question where does it say that in the bible? Ok lets take it from the beginning, we see in gen 1:26 that god talking with the other parts of the trinity says that man is to be created in their likeness. Then we move on to the next instance where god made the physical apparatus that he called man gen 1:27 and commissioned them to their tasks. This is a quick over view of the events that actually took place as we will see in the next chapter. Gen 2:7 actually shows us the creation process that took place. God made the husk or physical and injected life by giving it a soul or spirit of God. This would simulate the act that with out the spiritual you can not be physical, due to the fact that the spirit is life. In gen 35:18 we can see another example of this as it talks about Rachel’s death and how the soul/spirit left her physical being and she died in the physical. On many occasions in the bible we can see how all spiritual beings good and evil are of God. In our human faculties we tend to look at all in the physical sense and can’t quite understand the spiritual sense, therefore creating an idea on the physical plane that is in reality a false sense of security. Now where did that come from? Well, this stemmed from the discussion about God and his creation of good and evil, right and wrong. I think that many try to get stuck in a closed and self evolving definition of what we are dealing with. Have you ever seen a battery with two positive posts? Is there anything in our physical material world that doesn’t have a life and death cycle? Is there any part of our existence that doesn’t have a good and bad side? All that is in the world has its good and bad positive and negative life and death. Now let’s think about this for a minute, if all that is was good where would that leave God? What goals would you be able to have? How could he show his power and beauty and wisdom unto us and through us? On the physical plane of humanity we would probably take all for granted and no gratification process or praise towards God be applied. Now the argument here would be that if all was good that would be a daily practice. That is exactly correct then why isn’t it? All was created good and perfect yet through our physical limitations and near sightedness we have rather elected to not really relate to our spiritual side and praise our God through it. We tend to praise and elevate our physical /material surroundings as gods. We expect to extricate happiness, comfort or protection out of our material blessings. When was the last time you went out in the middle of a lightning storm and sat down in the middle of the yard and thanked god for his protection and safety! Now you may be saying that this is a redundant idea or a form of trying the lord but is it? Now don’t get me wrong I am not there either but if your trust was in God would you need to sit cowering in your house or other type of physical structure expecting its protection from nature? I say cowering because that seems an appropriate word for our faith in the physical realm. Friends there is no escape from God, no physical structure strong enough to with stand all the power he holds at his fingertips. Now back to my original thought did God created good and evil? In col 1:16-17 it is impossible to say that he didn’t. In my example that I gave in one of the comments I seemed to get shot down and it was expressed that it wasn’t properly used. Well, to clarify the point a little I was not trying to say that he put it here on earth in the physical realm for man did that. But evil was in existence before physical man. God clearly stated the lines of right and wrong, and through the action of Adam and Eve they were manifested in the physical world. Now you may be thinking that there is reason to argue with me but let me tell you that God uses both good spirits and evil spirits to teach and demonstrate his powers. Now here you go again saying that I have lost the right of mind and you may be even trying to throw your hands up in despair and wanting to tell me to just give it up and go and study what I am saying. This friend is not just thought or theory but basic bible fact!!!!! What? You want scriptures? Hope you are ready! When you look at the Israelites and their dealings with pharaoh and how GOD hardened pharaohs’ heart to when GOD is actually named in direct conjunction with evil spirits in 1 Samuel 16:15-16&23, 1 Samuel 18:10,19:9. Contrary to our modern day beliefs and theory that if God does these things then how can we trust him, we can by reading these verses understand that he was using the evil spirits to try to get the characters involved to react to change to recognize his powers as the ultimate and trust him. Instead they chose to trust the physical; and met with terrible ends. We as humans are in fact and reality similar in affect and try by which ever means possible to accomplish the turning of souls to God when we tell them the bad and then the good of things. Trust God and you can and will conquer all. Jesus says that through him all is possible. That means that there is no impossible in life and that if you are for him none can stand against you and that you can conquer all!!! Friends remember God lives in all of us, through us and if you accept him he has promised you great things! Through faith all is possible!! Glory to God and may God bless all! Love and peace

Joy and Children

Friends good evening to all!! just a quick note and then I'll be off on to the next topic... Well, many of us have been so blessed and sometimes we tend to take one particular blessing for granted. Well ok you say that could be said of many things but, I am really sure that this one has not come into the mind of many people …. My wife and I have been looking for beds for our children and have been using the Craig’s list fervently in our efforts to acquire these articles. We have been successful for the most part but I am not telling you this because I want you to help us but because of a particular ad we saw on Craig’s list. I will post the link for you here shortly. The reason that it caught our eye was the motherly voice that rang out at us in its gentle plea. It wasn’t a desperate plea but one of a great desire to make possible that one thing that most of us have taken for granted. This young woman has put an advertisement on Craig’s list selling hand made toddlers blankets for $35 dollars. Now I don’t know about you but that is a lot of work for that little bit of earnings. My mother has in the past done these, a little more intricately, for her little grandchildren. I have seen the time and dedication that these blankets take and I am sure that I didn’t ever express enough my gratitude for her effort, but mom it is awesome that you have taken the time to do this for our little ones. Well now the reason this young lady is doing this….. They, her and her husband, are going through or saving up for fertility treatments. Friends…. That is dedication to her cause. The only reason that I am posting this is that we would like to help this couple in our small way. They didn’t ask and we don’t know them personally but I think she can be commended on her efforts and dedication. So if any one of my friends out there know of some one who could use a blanket, this might be a good time to be a blessing to at least one family if not two.J And if nothing else just think how difficult and frustrating it would …… the wanting to be a mom and dad and not being able too. Do most of us take this for granted?? With love and May God bless ......................................................................................................................... Here is the link and what she has to offer. the link is to her email to see the ad in its entirety go to craigs list and in search window put the nuber below. ............................................................. Please help me and my hubby have a baby!! ............................................... Reply to: mailto:sale-657689050@craigslist.org . Date: 2008-04-26, 8:54PM CDTI am making and selling baby/toddler bed blankets to help us fund infertility treatments so we can have our own baby. We can work together on a pattern and color scheme to get the blanket just like you want it. E-mail me what gender you are wanting a blanket for or want type of pattern you want or if you want a surprise (certain gender) with a specific color scheme. I am selling them for $35 which includes shipping. Below are some blankets I have made and already shipped and some that are made and ready for a new home.

LIFE AND OUR POTHOLES

Good morning friends…. it looks like we are on the uphill swing of things and the weather is coming around nicely! I read an article the other day that really sparked my interest and I would like to share one of the fine points it had to offer…you have probably read in some of my previous posts about positive and negative energy…. and also maybe you have heard me say thoughts become things. Well, the reason that I can say that thoughts become things is that all that is around us and all that we experience is compliments of our thoughts. God did not feel the world into existence he spoke it into existence…. but I am sure that you can understand that he had a plan and that all starts with thought. Every invention from the wheel to our modern day comforts started with a thought, an idea, a plan, and someone’s dream to bring it into existence. Now, true not every invention or creation of mans is good, but remember that all have been permitted by God. He says that he created both good and evil. It is up to use to know the difference. Now, one of the points that I would like to share with you is this…. imagine you go on a journey and in your travels you come into the perfect place or city. All who abide in this city work together and live in peace and the only thing you have to know about is the huge pothole on 4th avenue. So you knowing this drive the streets admiring the beauty of the city but you are kind of starting to worry about this pothole. You start by thinking well if it is large I should be able to see it and you continue on driving…. When you haven’t seen it yet you start to think and actually look for it…. and as you drive farther on you become worried that you may not see it…what happens if I fall into it eew that could hurt and possibly damage my vehicle…. Now after a short while you are actually worked up about this…. while driving you came into a beautiful neighbor hood with gorgeous mansions and great estates…and you start to really just enjoy the view…. But in the back of your mind is this huge pothole…WOW! Hun look at that place…. that is gorgeous…. your wife screams and you are startled WHAM you fall right into that hole…. This is what we do on an everyday basis; we concentrate so much of our energy on the bad around us that we really fail to see the beauty around us…just as we do in the people that are in our everyday lives. Ok I love little exercises…. here is another that you can try out that also has done great things in my life. At first you are going to say man all of these exercises.. I don’t have that much time on my hands…. Friends let me tell you after a while the little exercises are going to be so natural to you that you won’t even realize that you are doing them…but you will see drastic improvements in you!!!! All right friends here it is…. let’s start with the people in your lives; this seems easier to do because they are a more black and white type image. Let’s say you have a coworker or friend whom has those little things that bother you. …Things that aren’t drastic just get under your skin… Take out a pen and paper think about that person…. Write down the things that are great about that person…. This may take a few minutes at first but focus on ONLY the good traits of that person…think of what they mean to you. Now get another piece of paper and write down the bad things about them…. this wont take as long primarily due to the fact that the list isn’t any where as long as the first…. compare the lengths of the two now if the bad is longer than the good this probably isn’t a healthy person to deal with…. but if the good out weighs the bad then you are ok. Now take the bad list and throw it away burn it or how ever you want to dispose of it…and reread the good list…. focus on these points…. what happens will amaze you and leave in astonishment as you watch the changes. Remember beauty and pothole…. good and bad positive and negative…if you put a magnet over a pile of nails it will draw them to it. If you focus on the good in people you will be a better person and draw more good people to you. With love and may God bless..:) p.s. also another little saying that I like is this…..where your focus is there your attention goes…..:)

ONLY YOU CAN……

Good afternoon friends….even though it is afternoon I think it is still a wonderful time for a nice rich cup of coffee! it appears to be getting colder by the hr and I, as I am sure many of you, wish the cold were gone!!! Well one of my dear readers passed a little notation on to me this afternoon and I find a world of truth in its little dialog. So read on and enjoy!!

WHO HAS BEEN HINDERING YOUR GROWTH
This is good!  Timely for some ...
One day all the employees reached the office and they saw a big sign on the door on which it was written:

'Yesterday the person who has been hindering your growth in this Company passed away.

We invite you to join the funeral in the room that has been prepared in the gym'.
In the beginning, they all got sad for the death of one of their colleagues, but after a while they started
getting curious to know who was that man who hindered the growth of his colleagues and the company itself. The
excitement in the gym was such that security agents were ordered to control the crowd within the room. The more
people reached the coffin, the more the excitement heated up.  Everyone thought: 'Who is this guy who was hindering
my progress?
Well, at least he died!'. One by one the thrilled employees got closer to the coffin, and when they looked
inside it they suddenly became speechless. They stood nearby the coffin, shocked and in silence, as if someone
had touched the deepest part of their soul.
There was a mirror inside the coffin: everyone who looked inside it could see himself.  There was also a
sign next to the mirror that said: 'There is only one person who is capable to set Limits to your growth: it is YOU. Your life does not
change when your boss changes, when your friends change, when your parents change, when your partner changes, when
your company changes. Your life changes when YOU change, when you go beyond your limiting beliefs.  Examine
yourself, watch yourself. Don't be afraid of difficulties, impossibilities and losses: be a winner, build yourself
and your reality.. It's the way you face Life that makes the difference!

    Anonymous

Now, isn't that wonderful? Do you see the impact that this thought could release in your life? Isn't it tremendous that how big we sometimes think we are but when you really examine things how small we really are? Friends, it has been said that you are only as you think you are. Now, many don't realize one of the most important things in life, and I can say this from personal experience that you are the only one responsible for what has happened in your life! Well ok you may or may not agree, and that is ok, why because it is a hard concept to come to grips with. I know it was for me! I didn't want to be responsible for the things that had happened in my life! You know unfortunate for my folks whom I love very dearly, I felt that they were responsible among others for the way I was. But thankfully and here again that little light of intuition came on, I saw the light!! You see I have come to the realization that I as a child would not had to suffer as many punishing consequences as I did if I had just done the right thing as I was told.

Many times I felt that was the only way to get my fair share of the attention, good or bad. Was that the right way to think? Many times(and this is just my experience with my own kids), that we get so tied up in trying to support or families, especially the father figures, that we don't have the time or energy for a whole lot of anything else; this was a large personal struggle for me because I worked so much and didn't seem to get any where, and especially with my wife and family. Now, one of my favorite sayings is IF YOU WANT THINGS IN YOUR LIFE TO CHANGE THEN YOU WILL NEED TO CHANGE THINGS IN YOUR LIFE!!! How true is that!! Would you like another little exercise that I love to do? Well even if you don't I will give it to you and let you do with it what you will! Get comfy and relax…ask your self one question what would my perfect day be like?.......now close your eyes and take a deeeep breath…..I even like to put a little soft music on, and just start to count your breaths……as you count start to let your mind wander….. Let it wander and watch the magic…….if properly executed it will tell you about you……remember what you see….feel yourself living that perfect day. All the joy and happiness that it breathes…..and if you maintain this thought and think upon it often it will get clearer and you will change, your attitude will change your life will change to a point that you will be ready to receive that wonderful blessing from God.

You may think I have went off of the deep end but you need to let your inner self have a say sometimes before you can know what goal to achieve. I personally love this little exercise…it allows you to go… explore you and your dreams. Have fun with this exercise of the mind and remember if you want change the only one that can change you is you….May God bless

TAKE THE EXAM….?

Good morning friends and dear readers….been having some tech issues with the comments and haven’t figured out why just yet, but if you want to leave a comment just post it on one of the other posts and others will still be able to see them. Well, yesterday we talked a little bit about how magical a compliment can be to those around us; today I want to tell you about this extremely contagious disease that you will definitely want to pass on once you get it….. It is called the silly smile syndrome! You may have caught glimpses of people with this disease but your immune system was so effective that day that it didn’t take hold. The immune system uses stress and worries to fight your happiness, but what you don’t know is that you can effectively change your polar immune system so that it is actually immune to negative actitudes instead of positive actitudes. Now, you may be asking how you can do this. I am very sure that you already know but, let me give you a little hint on how things work through a short story. I used to work for a large company, and one of my tasks was to give a weekly training class to the new technicians coming on board. In this class I would show them how to do a lot of the paperwork and ordering of their equipment and needs from the warehouse. Now, at first I had a little bit of the napoleons syndrome, even though I am not short, but i came across as very aggressive in teaching these gentlemen the how too’s. The results of this were that many were somewhat intimidated by me and didn’t want to ask the questions that they had, therefore causing confusion and in the end and costing me more time later on re-explaining things to them. Then the light of intuition flickered on, a little slow I must admit, but I started to look at my actions and the way that I relayed the information to these people. The next class I had, I started to be less aggressive and carry on with a more friendly conversation. By doing this the class felt more comfortable with me and felt the door was open to freely discuss there questions. The results, astounding! I found myself with a lot more free time and a lot more cooperative technicians. Then I implemented a little bit more into my class with a discussion about the happy thought process, and how contagious our attitude is. I would explain to them that being happy and smiling have more weight than being growley… why? If a manager goes to work in a bad mood, it will be relayed to his subordinates, who then relay it, in this case to the customers, or the ones that they come in contact with. That not only puts a strain on the techs life but also their customers and then all the people that the customer comes in contact with and so on. So if you see here how contagious this can be, then also you can see that it only takes one person to break the link. If the manager comes in all growley to his or her subordinate and they carry it on then it just grows….but, if the subordinate had just smiled and been friendly, helpful and happy, he not only will change the attitude of the manager, but, also of the whole day for many, many people!! Now the results of this little action on my part caused a change in many peoples attitude and therefore changing the atmosphere at work. Not only were the techs happier but the managers also, creating a better environment and team efforts in many aspects. Now, I am not trying to beat my own drum here, just using an example of what the affects can be. Well, now you can see that any energy emitted can and is contagious. If you get out of bed and step on something that your children left on the floor the night before, hurting your foot, you may feel pretty negative towards that child; and after waking them from their sweet dreams, and you start chewing on them, did you stop and think about how you had affected not only their day but yours also? Was there a better, more affective way to have handled this situation? I read once about a president of a prominent bank who had devised a very effective system for self examination and development. He would sit down every Saturday and study over his appointment book from the previous week, going through each and every interaction he’d had, and self examine his actions and reactions. In doing this he reevaluated himself to see how he could have more effectively handled the situations. This exercise he stated was very humbling for him as I am sure it will be for you. I have found it to be very effective and highly recommend it for everyone. It will change the way you see yourself as you open your mind and desire for a more positive affect on others and move you into a position to change their lives. Even though it is easier said than done, one needs to start somewhere. Love and many blessings to all, God bless….. Be positively contagious!!!

A GENUINE GIFT....

HELLO FRIENDS … I AM BACK and have a thought for you …… try this exercise with some one today and watch the magic. First let me give you a little back ground of what I am going to put you up to. Now, I am sure that you have noticed quite frequently how so many of the people in the world today are caught up in their own lives that they don't stop to appreciate their neighbor; and if they do they are usually not genuine about their appreciation. They are not genuine due to the fact that they are full of flattery and trying to gain something by it.

I once read a story of a man that went into a post office; now this man was up there in years and had lost a greater portion of his hair. As he stood in line he watched the clerk and noticed that he wasn't too excited about accomplishing his tasks; the elderly gentleman, the kind sort that he was tried to think of something to add cheer to the younger mans day. When it was his turn at the counter he said to the younger man (who wasn't that young either) he said" boy I sure wish that I had that nice head of hair, mine has gotten rather thin" the other gentleman smiled and said"thank you, many have commented on my hair, although it isn't as grand as it once was. But for my age it is still really good" and the two continued to carry on the pleasantries for a short while afterwards. As the transaction was completed, the elderly gentleman then went on about his day.

You may be asking why I put that entire story here but, I am sure you can imagine what kind of an impact those sincere words made in the other gentleman's day. He probably attended his customers for the rest of the day with more patience and respect and above all with a smile. He probably then went home and told his wife and looked at himself in the mirror appreciating him self a little more.

Sincere compliments tend to create more sincere compliments and induce a greater sense of well-being in others not only in those that you come in contact with but also in those that they come in contact with on an every day basis.

So now we come down to the exercise: during the course of your day find at least one person to give a sincere compliment to. It may be the clerk at the grocery store or convenience store, or the teller at the bank, or the attendant at the gas station. These people handle angry people everyday and a smile and a compliment go a long ways….. Make somebody's day…be contagious!!

MAGNIFICENCE AND GLORY

HELLO FRIENDS BET YOU THOUGHT THAT I HAD FALLEN OFF OF THE EARTH, but no here I am and so go get your beverage of choice and enjoy. God is beautiful, his creation is beautiful, his law is perfect beauty, and anyone who denies these denies himself of the joy and happiness that comes from being grateful for them…..so, can you walk out your door and tell me that you do not see beauty? When was the last time you went out side lifted your arms to the heavens and thanked God for his creation, for his beauty, for his generosity for allowing you to live in a land and country where you can practice freely your spiritual freedom and be able to tell the world of the great things he has done in your life. For some it might be an everyday ordeal and for some it probably has never ever been done in their lives. Ok, I received this comment in one of the previous comments, ....God has promised to provide our necessities (Mt. 6:33) but where in the scripture does he promise pleasure, wealth, beauty, lack of suffering in this life? I am now going to show you where it says that we can and should enjoy these things. Psa 35:27 Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favor my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. Psa 111:2 The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein Isa 58:3 wherefore have we fasted, say they, and thou seest not? Wherefore have we afflicted our soul, and thou takest no knowledge? Behold, in the day of your fast ye find pleasure, and exact all your labors. 2Co 12:10 therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. 2Th 1:11 wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power: The word pleasure is listed in various forms approximately 60 times in the bible. Now, there are three main forms of pleasure which are spiritual, earthly and worldly. Two forms incur great advances and cohabitate with each other while the third is a totally negative and distressing form. Well I am sure that you are eager to know what I mean so let me explain a little more. The kind of pleasures that we are to experience are those of a good nature and that have the life time of gratitude connected to them. These pleasures should be based on the servitude of God and his exploration as well as seeking. Baby steps ..ok first in matt 6:33 Jesus tells us to first seek the kingdom and all these shall be added unto you…..now how do you find the kingdom? Through the reading and knowledge accompanied through understanding of the word of God….correct? Partially… well, you are asking why do I say partially, well I say to you this, that just because you have all the knowledge of the bible and understand it you will not go to heaven. The second part is the action part…the part where you find out how to use your knowledge of the scriptures. In Romans 12:4 it tells us that we are all part of the same body. If and when you follow the calling of Christ and are reborn into him your work is just starting. Just as Paul states in Romans that all of us have different tasks in the church, everyone also has different talents and ambitions or passions in life. Not everyone can be or do the same thing as another our we would all be as they say preaching to the choir! .… now, part of completing the search for the kingdom is finding your talent and or passion in life. These are God given features that we already have programmed into us, but most of us do not take the time to search them out or even care to find. Some of us come on to them early on in life and for Some they are things that surface and like Moses we don’t think that we are possible of accomplishing them. Listen friends, you can find them and do not be afraid when you do! They are gifts from God, and if he gave them to you he will provide the means for you to accomplish them. Remember, these things once you find them will be effortless and seemingly simple to you, but grant you great pleasure for years to come, they will be ways that you can help, teach, influence, and light up the lives that you come into contact with on an everyday basis. Jesus says in matt6:28 Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: there is no effort on there part and he takes care of them, why wouldn’t he do the same for you. I heard a saying once and it makes so much sense to me and I have found it so very true …..FOLLOW YOUR PASSIONS AND THE FINANCES WILL FOLLOW…..why do I say this? Because many of us think oh I would love to do this or that and so on and then in the next sentence they are like BUT I CANT AFFORD IT!!! How silly can that be! But you know what … we all do it. Now I am going to give you a real life example, and this is just an EXAMPLE, OK. But, it will blow your socks off, literally! Ok, here a couple of years ago there was a story you may recall about two ladies that had retired and were bored so they started to do what they liked to do best, knitting or darning socks. Now who would have ever guessed that particular activity could be a passion? Well, for them it was. They started to knit these socks and in the process giving some to charitable causes. With in a few months they thought that they should get some sheep, so through the selling of socks bought the sheep and went on to produce their own wool yarn and socks. These two ladies did nothing that was tedious or hard for them and by following what they loved to do and were passionate about, they created a very profitable company which sells their products and donates generous amounts of products to charities. Now these fine ladies didn’t get rich or successful over night but they didn’t care about the money or success, but, it did come to them and they were able to expand in many ways and now enjoy life even more. This a perfect example of ways that you can help, teach, influence, and light up the lives that you come into contact with on an everyday basis. Now, I am going to ask you to think on these questions for a moment: was this a sinful pleasure? Was it worldly pleasure? Was it a worldly aspiration? Absolutely not!! So if it wasn’t worldly then it must have been earthly and Godly? Absolutely so!! The following verses come to mind, along with several that are afore mentioned to clarify why I say this. Pro 3:9 Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase: Pro 3:10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine Pro 19:17 He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again. Pro 22:9 He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor. Now this story is so awesome because we can see the hand of God working through these ladies, and it also shows an example of another detail. Don’t follow money let it follow you! As one said MONEY IS PAPER AND METAL, now if I was a child I would probably find great pleasure in the paper to write on or if I worked with metal possibly pleasure working with the metal, but not all of us are, so we don’t. 1Ti 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. Does this mean that money in itself is bad? No! Money is a beautiful object with which we use to do our trades for things we don’t have. The search for ungodly wealth is why it is the root of all evil; this hunt to be wealthy as many have discovered brings with it the feelings of greed , lust, covetousness, fornication adultery and the list goes on. Is it because the money made them do it? No! Their personal thought that money would be the way to end their problems, to being able to have all that they want. The type of people that think like this, suffers more than their poor counter parts. They really don’t know themselves or their heart. Now friends follow your passions and aspirations in a Godly fashion and allowing yourself to receive earthly pleasures provided for you by God. Now friends I didn’t say worldly pleasures so don’t get confused by what I am saying here. Think about this for a moment…...lets say you have this huge desire to experience the pleasure and joy that will be derived from the ride of your life in an extremely powerful car, I am not talking about a camaro or mustang but one that has the incredible possibility for you to be able to feel the ponies as this automobile starts its magnificent launch forward, making you scream through clenched teeth in exhilaration at the extreme acceleration, imprinting your hands into the steering wheel as the tremendous force tries to make you one with the seat, and your heart is pounding like it wants to leave your chest as this automobile rockets you down the track or where ever you want or get to experience this ride ….wow… just…. Wow….imagine the rush. Or you may be of a calmer taste like an excellent vacation which includes mountains, camping, fishing, hiking and just enjoying the natural beauty of Gods creation. For most guys these would be things that are very exhilarating and pleasurable. Now, for the women folk perhaps not so much, they maybe into a long Sunday afternoon drive with their dear husband and family or some romantic dinner or needle work such as crocheting or the like. These are earthly pleasures that we can enjoy and experience , and yes they do take money to do but by following your passions and letting God work through you, you can experience. If he did not put us here to love, enjoy, partake of his beauty and experience the finer things in life …. Then why ….why has he created them…..to tempt us into frivolous living …. I don’t think so…..you as a Christian will suffer due to your own inabitions and humane nature not due to Gods’ creations. But, you say, the bible says that we are going to Suffer …ok, you will but from your own desires and at the hands of your peers and their desires…not from God…you will be put to temptations and trials but they will be from your own desires not at Gods hands…he tells us that all good things come from him that in him there is no evil….. 1Ti 4:4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: Pro 1:33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil. 2Ti 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. Pro 28:10 Whoso causeth the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit: but the upright shall have good things in possession Mat 12:35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. Mat 19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. God allows things to happen to prove not only to Satan that you belong to God but also for your benefit as a way for you to see your personal growth. Now somebody telling me that I can't have, enjoy and partake in the finer things of this earthly life because it looks like or I am portraying that I am dependant on worldly things and not putting store on heavenly things…….that friends is where the attitude of gratitude and your personnel limitations are. I love God and my spiritual growth, my family, my house, my nice cars and good books and on and on…but, do I see them as personal success or gain ……no way Jose…. I am constantly sitting at home or driving down the road and listening to beautiful music, crying tears of joy thanking him telling God how awesome he is over and over and many times I cant stop, even when I pull into my garage, I continue to sit there as if in a trance, crying tears of gratitude and joy, over and over again telling God how awesome he is!! This my friends is what I have learned is the actual feeling of gratitude and the benefits. I wish with all my heart and love that everybody could experience this. I am so blessed with many gifts spiritually and materially that he has given to me. The contentions and suffering that others have had to go through should be for your encouragement and appreciation of where you are today not a reversing affect, thinking that we have to suffer as the early Christians did or do you think that you are going to be thrown into prison or meet possible death for your teachings ….or your beliefs…..in some countries yes but not here….be thankful for that. The world today is the way it is for one and only one reason….the lack of people who want to follow Gods will and purpose….not for the lack of God…man started out in the garden of Eden …with everything…..then God saw that Adam needed a helpmate and to provide him with the complete package he created woman…..then due to the knowledge of the tree that they couldn’t eat of; they wanted and did……the same as Paul said in Romans 7:7. This same affect I have with my very own children. If you tell a child not to do something they will with out a doubt want to do it or try to do it just to see why. God knew this about Adam and Eve he knew that they would….he knew….it is his way of showing us this is what I have for you if you dare to follow my laws…same thing we as adults have and do to our children. I catch myself all the time telling them if you don’t do this I will reward you and give you this or that and always it is something that I know that they will like….. do I get results oh yeah baby works like a champ…..c’mon friends lets get to the real deal of what God is really all about….if he created us in his likeness and also he says very clearly in Mat 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Now tell me that he doesn’t want you to see beauty. I love and thoroughly enjoy taking my children places to enjoy Gods’ beauty and giving them things that they want. Now to illustrate this think back in time to the last time you gave to your child…..now think about how you looked at them and now put yourselves in Gods position looking at you. Ponder for a moment how you felt when they beamed up at you and said thank you mommy or daddy and you tell them your welcome but thank God for from him came the blessings that allowed you to purchase it for them. Then they run off wanting to tell the whole world how great and awesome their mom and dad are, starting with their friends, telling and showing them what you had given them. Do you think they meet rejection? … Someone will always tell them that they have something better…..do they stop telling people…. No! Friends GOD is the same way!!!!!! He wants your gratitude and appreciation of him…..your praise and glorification. Now you may be thinking that my appreciation of him is from my earthly blessings, but friends I have come along way to where I am at now and as I have grown I have always given him the glory for all things…. most of all my spiritual growth and for the opening of my eyes and mind to really see who he is and how great he is. I really and truly feel sorry for those who would rather see it in any other way …. Imprisonment …… so ….. rejection of peers…….so……..death………so………..if GOD be with you…..who can stand against you? Suffering is a mind set, not a goal! Pro 1:33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil. GO FRIENDS!!! FIND YOUR PASSSIONS!! ENJOY GODS CREATION AND DO ALL FOR THE GLORY OF GOD!!!!

RIGHTS OR WRONG…..

WELL…..FRIENDS….. FIRST, got coffee or maybe a pastry? Secondly I Want to say that I love and enjoy each and every one of my readers and who ever else decides to enjoy this bogs writings. At first I started this blog to assist others in their travels to find a deeper and more fulfilling life…..not only spiritually but also in there everyday traversing of ways with others. I have really enjoyed the comments and discussions that have transpired in the short history of my writings and definitely hope they continue on into the future topics. We as Americans live in a land of the free and for this I am very thankful. Now you know as well as I do you are the only one that can tell your own personal story as to how living in this great country has benefited you and those that you have come in contact with in your life. Now, when you stop and think about all those wonderful benefits and splendid blessings that we partake of on a daily basis, you will start to realize how many we tend to take them for granted and that we don’t really think about who or what has given us this freedom. I am sure you know that this country and its freedoms have come at great cost to many extraordinary people. Many have gone so far as giving up their families and children to die for our freedom. This country has been founded on the basis that all have the liberty of religion. This is stated in the bill of rights as the first amendment. We have no more earned this right or privilege than any other person living in any other country on the face of this earth. The ones that have are the ones who died for us to have and be able to utilize it to its fullest extent. Yet by the simple fact that we were born into this country we take that right as rightfully ours, whether we are thankful for it or really and truly appreciate it, we have and use it. How can it be taken from us? At the time a person decides to relinquish it upon the commitment of some heinous crime against another’s life, therefore putting said human in prison or to death. Our country did not owe us this right …..But the founders of this great country fought and gave their sweat, blood and tears for it. You were given access to this right at your birth…..Just by the simple and plain fact that you were born in this country. Now were you able to take advantage of this from that point in your existence? Due to your incapacity at birth of understanding and using it the answer is no. Could you had you been able to? Yes. This my friends is what I am trying to say….God promised that every humane being that ever came to be or existed has the right to salvation through his son Jesus Christs’ blood, was that not his promise? Was that not his gift? Does he specify color, race, gender or anything else? No friends he said that allll mankind has the right to this opportunity. We all agree on the fact that there are steps to be taken to enable us to take advantage of this great and tremendous gift. If we look at it any other way it is my opinion that we are doing a great injustice to others who we tend to write off thinking that they don’t or won’t take advantage of this opportunity due to our view of their past dealings in life. But the truth of the matter is that they have just as much right to hear and partake of this opportunity as you and I have. The reason I used birth right and Esau is because of the form that it was able to relate to us as Christians in the ever so true form that we tend to sell ourselves to the world and our physical desires of greed, lust, anger and many other unfavorable things instead of maintaining form and continuing on in Christianity. Jesus in the parable of the prodigal son uses the same illustration. This son was not the first born but took his inheritance early, went his way and seeing his error decided to return to his fathers’ house no matter the cost. Now did the father reject him, knowing the many sins that he had committed and the unfavorable expenditure of the grand inheritance that had been bestowed to him? Well, we all know the answer to that. Every right that we exercise on a daily basis has, is and always will be the greatest gifts of God and humankind that we can enjoy and equally appreciate daily. They really should be called privileges that we should hold with the highest respect and honor, but we call them rights and unfortunately many people abuse these awesome gifts, within which they unknowingly or knowingly affect all mankind. Birthright, rights, inheritance, blessings, privilege, promises or how ever you wish to say or play the words, they are all forms of the same thing……an incredibly awesome GIFT FROM ONE TO ANOTHER. None are owed nor do you have to accept them, but you through being born in human physical form with the beautiful gift of the right to your own thought, which was also given unto us by God from birth, you have the right to accept them or not, by fulfilling the due requirements to obtain or maintain them. It is my hope that this explains the thought process behind what has been published in my previous posts and clarifies the terminology used therein. PRAISE GOD FROM WHOME ALL BLESSINGS FLOW. Love and abundance to all from my heart to yours

TALKING TO OUR SELVES.....

HELLO ALL…..AND MANY BLESSINGS TO ALL….sorry about the caps below I forgot to take the caps off and I am not going to rewrite it all…..anyway I HAD A TEACHER IN GRADE SCHOOL WHO WOULD WALK DOWN THE HALLS AT SCHOOL AND JUST BE TALKIN A MILE A MINUTE TO HER SELF…HAVE YOU EVER CAUGHT YOUSELF TALKING TO YOUR SELF? I LAUGH AS I AM ASKING THIS QUESTION BECAUSE I HAVE A LOT OF CONVERSATIONS WITH MY SELF. WELL IN SCHOOL WE LAUGHED AT THIS PARTICULAR TEACHER FOR HER HABIT OF BEING SO CAUGHT UP IN HER CONVERSATIONS THAT MANY TIMES SHE WOULD WALK RIGHT ON BY THE CLASS ROOM AND INTO THE NEXT BEFORE SHE REALIZED WHERE SHE WAS….AND THEN MAKE A DIVE FOR THE DOOR SO FLUSTERED AND OUTRAGED AT HER SELF THAT AS SOON AS SHE GOT BACK INTO THE HALL IT START ALL OVER BUT WITH A DEFINITE CHANGE IN THE CONVERSATION. NOW, YOU MIGHT THINK WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH ANY THING, BUT I DO REMEMBER HER PASSING HER CLASS ROOM ON A COUPLE OF OCCASIONS TWICE BEFORE SHE WAS SO UPSET THAT SHE GAVE UP THE PERSONAL FIGHT WITH HER SELF and SHE DID GET BACK ON TRACK AND MAKE IT INTO HER CLASS ROOM. WE (THE STUDENTS OF HER CLASS) WOULD MANY TIMES SAY HI AND SHE WOULD NOT EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE US AS BEING PRESENT. IT GOT SO FUNNY AND BECAME THIS TREMENDOUS GAME BTWEEN SOME OF US THAT WE WOULD GET TO PLACING BETS ON HOW MANY OF US COULD PASS THE TEACHER AND SAY HI BEFORE SHE CAME OUT OF HER CONVERSATION. OK, KINDA FUNNY RIGHT? WELL, imagine what God is thinking of you and me as we do the same thing but on the level of our lives. Hummm Well? Sometimes we are so caught up in our lives, or physical worries that we forget about others, our neighbors, even to the point of what we are and who God is. What are you missing or dismissing today….love you all

WELL....

HELLOO FRIENDS....Hope we are ready to go on make sure you take part in my little poll at the top of page.now to one of my comments about being born into sin I flubbed it up and was meaning that we are all born into the world which is full of sin sorry about that but, glad it provoked you to look. :) Now the question I am going to throw out to you is one that really intrigues me and I am curios to see the responses. We are physical beings but our core is spiritual….. Are you in touch with your spirit? And if so is your spirit in touch with God? Now if it is, how do you really know? :) By your actions? By your feelings? Friends I am interested.....

Controversy & Understanding

OKAYYYY….Last and finale time I am going to try to explain what I mean….Gods promise to us…salvation…. we all know and agree so far…. Steps need to be accomplished for this to take place….again we all agree……….finally we will all be judged at the end for how we accomplished and what fruits we brought about…..again we all agree!!!! Ok, now if I give you a million dollars, do you have the right to that million dollars….yes because they are now yours to have and do with what you want….correct? Now, if you say no I don’t want your money and I insist and we argue about it does that mean that they are yours or that you have by right, access to that money…..well yes. Why because I gave them it to you….do you deserve it probably not but I gave it to you any way. Now if I tell you that when your child is born that I will give him another million, and I put it in the bank with his name on it does he have the right to that money when he is born…..well yes….now if I put stipulations on that money such as age, study, and what have you does he still have the right at birth….yes it has his name on it he decides if he will fulfill the agreement or not. That is up to him….more than likely he will, due to the extravagant sum but that is still his choice!!!!! We were born into sin with the promise of salvation. Nobody owes us anything except ourselves and that is to do our best here on this earth in bettering ourselves but more so our neighbors…….maybe and I probably am confusing my self by all this, but that is the way I see it and the opportunity is there for any one to grab onto and do there best. Confusion is the point right before clarity =:)
